About Us
Our Story
The church planting was a combined idea of Pastor Funso Ayinoluwa, then the PICP Lagos Province 2 and Pastor Tony Eguaveon of Ontario 7 Zone both of The Redeemed Christian Church of God.
The name RCCG Dayspring Assembly was given by the inspiration of God through Pastor Funso AyinOluwa.
Pastor Funso AyinOluwa and the wife were very supportive in every area that the church needed support.
The Church Inauguration service was held on Sunday
April 9, 2023 and that becomes the anniversary of the church.
The first service was at Forest Height Community Centre, 1700 Queen’s Blvd, Kitchener ON, N2N 3L6.
The first service was the Inauguration service. After the inauguration service, the parish was now left with two families who were the founding families, Pastor Lizzy Imuzeze and Sis. Mercy Itohan Osayi families.
The church within one year has been able to put in place Department structures, Natural Group structures and Family Group structures.
The 1st Workers Conference of the church with over 30 workers of the Parish was held July 27, 2024

We believe in the power of prayer. Therefore, the ministries and activities our church is characterized by a reliance on personal and corporate prayer in all areas of our lives and ministry.

We believe in the Great Commission commanded to us by Jesus Christ and we are committed to reaching unsaved and unchurched people locally, nationally and worldwide. We will use every available Christ-honoring means to pursue, win and disciple the people in our sphere of influence.

We believe God ordained the family to glorify him. We are committed to cultivate an atmosphere which promotes spiritual growth within the family by reaching families with the gospel, discipling them in Christ-like character and teaching each family member how to fulfill their God-given role.

Charles Imuzeze
Senior Pastor
Pastor Charles Imuzeze is a passionate servant of God, dedicated to leading and nurturing the body of Christ.
With a heart for ministry and a commitment to kingdom service, he has faithfully served in various leadership roles within The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) since 1999.
Ordained as a Deacon in 2004, an Assistant Pastor in 2011, and a full Pastor in 2019, Pastor Charles has overseen multiple parishes, demonstrating unwavering dedication to God’s work.
Upon relocating to Canada in 2023, he assumed the pastoral leadership of RCCG Dayspring Assembly in Kitchener, Ontario. Known for his dynamic teaching, compassionate shepherding, and fervent prayer life, Pastor Charles continues to inspire and empower individuals to grow in their relationship with God.
He is happily married and blessed with three wonderful children. Under his leadership, RCCG Dayspring Assembly remains a place of worship, fellowship, and community impact.
Lizzy Imuzeze
Co-Pastor
Pastor Lizzy Imuzeze is a devoted woman of God, passionate about leading others in worship and living a life that honors God. As a gifted worshipper and member of the RCCG National Praise Team, she ministers with a heart full of praise, ushering people into God’s presence through music.
Beyond her ministry in song, Pastor Lizzy is dedicated to promoting intentional parenting and encouraging families to build their lives on godly principles. Her desire to see people grow in their faith and walk in righteousness is evident in her compassionate mentorship and counsel.
Together with her husband, Pastor Charles Imuzeze, she serves faithfully at RCCG Dayspring Assembly in Kitchener, Ontario, inspiring others to pursue a closer relationship with God. She is also a loving mother, nurturing her children with the same values she passionately shares with others.
