Scripture:
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” – Luke 10:19 (KJV)
Devotional Reading:
Pestilence is part of the enemy’s arsenal, but Jesus has given you authority over it. Serpents and scorpions represent poisonous and destructive powers, yet they are under your feet. Authority means you are in control, not the enemy.
In Acts 28:3–6, Paul was bitten by a viper. People expected him to die, but he shook it off into the fire and suffered no harm. That is divine authority in action. The pestilence of that snakebite could not prosper against him.
Beloved, you carry divine authority. Use it in prayer, use it in confession. Stand boldly and declare: “Nothing shall by any means hurt me.”
Prayer:
👉 FATHER, I EXERCISE MY AUTHORITY OVER EVERY PESTILENCE, AND I DECLARE THAT NOTHING SHALL HURT ME IN THE NAME OF JESUS
